Refund policy
At DUIT, we want you to enjoy every purchase you make with us. Since we deal in clothing and fashion products, we provide a clear and customer-friendly 7-day return, exchange, refund, and cancellation policy.
Please read this policy carefully to understand the conditions under which returns, exchanges, refunds, and cancellations are accepted.
7-Day Return & Exchange Window
Customers may request a return or exchange within 7 days from the date of successful delivery.
- Requests raised after 7 days will not be accepted.
- The return or exchange process begins only after approval from our support team.
Eligibility Conditions for Returns & Exchanges
To qualify for a return or exchange, the clothing item must meet the following conditions:
- The product must be unused, unworn, and unwashed
- All original tags, labels, and packaging must remain intact
- The item must be returned in its original condition without stains, perfume smell, or damage
- Return request must include proof of purchase (order invoice)
Exchange Policy (Size & Fit Issues)
Since clothing purchases may require size adjustments, DUIT offers exchanges primarily for size-related concerns.
- Only size exchanges are allowed for the same product
- Exchange is subject to stock availability
- If the requested size is unavailable, a return or refund may be offered instead
Non-Returnable / Non-Exchangeable Items
The following items are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund:
- Innerwear, socks, or personal hygiene-related clothing items
- Customized, altered, or made-to-order products
- Products purchased during clearance sale or special discount offers
- Items damaged due to customer misuse or mishandling
Damaged or Incorrect Products
If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect clothing item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos or an unboxing video proof.
Open Box Delivery Policy & Claims
For selected orders, DUIT may provide an Open Box Delivery option. Customers are requested to inspect the package at the time of delivery.
- If you receive an incorrect product, missing item, or visibly damaged package, you must inform the delivery agent immediately.
- Claims for missing items may not be accepted once the package is opened and accepted.
- Customers may be asked to share an unboxing video or product images for return or refund approval.
Return Pickup & Shipping
Once your return request is approved, we will arrange a pickup or provide instructions for returning the product. Return shipping rules may vary depending on the location.
Refund Policy
Refunds are only applicable once the returned product is received and passes quality inspection.
After successful inspection, your refund will be initiated within 5–7 business days.
Mode of Refund
Refunds will be credited back to the original payment method used at checkout:
- UPI / Debit Card / Credit Card
- Net Banking
- Wallet Payments (if applicable)
Please note that banks or payment providers may take additional time to reflect the amount in your account.
Non-Refundable Cases
- Return request raised after 7 days of delivery
- Products that are worn, washed, damaged, or missing tags
- Innerwear, socks, or hygiene-sensitive clothing items
- Items purchased during clearance or final sale
- Damage caused due to customer mishandling
Cancellation Policy
DUIT allows cancellations only within a limited time after placing an order.
- Orders can be cancelled within 12 hours of placement
- Orders cannot be cancelled once shipped or dispatched
If your order is cancelled successfully, the refund will be initiated within 3–5 business days.
Refund for COD Orders
For Cash on Delivery orders, refunds (if applicable) will be processed via bank transfer or store credit after confirmation from the customer.
